The perineal ice pack can be used during pregnancy to help provide relief from any vaginal irritations, inflammation and can also help with Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction (SPD).
When heated you can also use these in during your second stage of labour (when pushing) to be pressed up against your perineum to help reduce perineal tears (speak with your midwife or medical team if unsure)
Preparing for your postpartum recovery? These perineum ice/heat packs will come in very handy as your perineum/vaginal area can be quite sore and tender for some weeks after birth. The ice pack component will help reduce swelling and soothe any tender areas.
